Gathering in Grace $300
Mon. June 30th, 7 pm to Sat. July 5th noon
Restful attention to the inner and outer landscapes of our lives
While presenting at a conference, spiritual teacher and author Brother David Steindl Rast, OSB was asked how he would define grace. He paused and then responded,
“Being in the flow”.
With the New Cosmic Story as a backdrop, our time together will focus attention on the natural rhythms and flow within nature and within our own being. Each day’s format will include one presentation, liturgy and evening prayer ritual. Opportunities for group sitting meditation, Tai Chi, poetry reading and dream group will also be offered. We hope for participants to experience rest, relaxation, a deep sense of interconnection and a listening heart for the many ways in which the spirit speaks. While these shared days are not meant to be a retreat in the traditional style, we will maintain quiet for the first part of each day.
Presenters:
Aileen Donovan, OP and Mary Dempsey, OP
