Thorpe Village

Thorpe Village is a federally subsidized housing community for the elderly and handicapped located on a 10 acre site in Sparkill, N.Y. It is dedicated not only to providing shelter for its residents but also to creating an environment that enriches the quality of their lives.

Opened in 1981 under the sponsorship of the Dominican sisters, Thorpe Village is widely recognized for the variety and excellence of its social, recreational and cultural services and programs.

Twenty of Thorpe Village's 200 one-bedroom apartments are equipped for the mobility impaired.
