Sister Suzanne earned a BS in History from Webster College, St. Louis, MO in 1952 and an MA in History from Catholic University, Washington, DC in 1955.

During her professional life, Sister Suzanne was an elementary and high school teacher.  She served in the Archdioceses of New York and St. Louis and in the Diocese of Syracuse.  She was teacher at St. Mary, Fulton, NY (1940-41); St. Mary Magdalen, Brentwood, MO (1941-43); Holy Redeemer, St. Louis, MO (1943-51); Cathedral HS, New York, NY (1951-58).  In 1958 Sister Suzanne answered the call to minister to the people of Pakistan in the Diocese of Multan.  For forty-seven years she served as teacher, principal and administrator in Bahawalpur, Loreto and Fatimapur.  In 2005 she returned home to Dominican Convent, Sparkill, NY and offered local community service until she became ill and was admitted to Siena Hall Infirmary in Sparkill.

Sister Suzanne will be remembered for her constant love and commitment to the people of God in Pakistan.  Her skills as an educator had a tremendous impact on the lives of so many both here in the United States and in Pakistan.  For seventy-one years she was faithful to her commitment as a Dominican Sister of Sparkill.  She had a joy for living and was very community minded.  We will miss her many kindnesses and thoughtful ways.  May the Lord welcome her into the kingdom and grant her eternal rest.
